We stand against unchecked warehouse expansion, developer influence at City Hall, the mistreatment of our neighbors by federal agents, discriminatory policies, misuse of public funds, and corruption.
We support transparent government, clean air, accountable development, civil rights, and leadership that answers to the people of Fontana, not powerful special interests.

Joz Sida for Fontana Mayor
Joz Sida's campaign for Mayor is about bringing power back to the people of Fontana through people-centered leadership, grassroots organizing, and bold accountability at City Hall. Fontana-raised and a proud daughter of immigrants, Joz has spent over 15 years as a community organizer, working on political campaigns from local races to the presidential level — helping uplift everyday people to represent their own communities. Her campaign for Mayor is rooted in justice, dignity, and opportunity for every family, with a vision focused on clean air, affordable housing, safe neighborhoods, reliable city services, youth investment, immigrant protections, and an economy that puts workers, small businesses, and local entrepreneurs first. As a nationally recognized community organizer, Joz is building a city where residents come first — not warehouses, developers, or insiders — and where every voice has real power to shape Fontana's future.
Joe Alvanez for City Clerk
Transparency should be the default, not something Fontana residents have to fight for. Joe Alvanez brings a background in information technology and Public Sector Management to a City Clerk’s office that should be modern, accessible, and built around the public. He will work to provide faster access to agendas and minutes, searchable and mobile-friendly public records, clearer election information, better language access, and easier ways to follow contracts, spending, development decisions, and council votes. Joe believes public information belongs to the public, and that a modern Clerk’s Office should help residents understand what City Hall is doing, participate in decisions, and hold their government accountable.
Kamal Namou for Fontana
City Council Treasurer
Kamal Namou's campaign for Treasurer is about bringing transparency, accountability, and independent financial oversight to Fontana City Hall. Rooted in public service, legal experience, and community-centered advocacy, Kamal has spent his career as a Public Defender fighting for residents who couldn't afford to protect themselves — experience that shapes his commitment to safeguarding public funds with the same dedication. His mission is to advocate for lower property taxes, promote small businesses, and make city finances more transparent and accessible to every resident, ensuring Fontana's government operates with integrity, fairness, and trust.
Ben Vasquez for Fontana
City Council District 4
Ben Vasquez brings Fontana District 4 a true community-first voice rooted in lived experience, grassroots organizing, and accountable leadership. A lifelong resident of Fontana with over a decade of advocacy alongside CCAEJ, SoCal Trash Army, and South Fontana Concerned Citizens, and a working-person's perspective as a truck driver, Chumash Native, and basket weaver, Ben has already delivered for District 4 — helping bring the California Attorney General's lawsuit against the warehouse next to Jurupa Hills High School, winning air filters for 1,750+ South Fontana families. His mission is to halt new warehouse approvals, fight for safer streets and cleaner air around District 4 schools, redirect city dollars toward the community, expand free bus service, and push back against unchecked AI surveillance — ensuring District 4 is no longer ignored and every neighborhood has real power at the table.
Nubia Diaz for Fontana
City Council District 1
Nubia Diaz's mission is to uplift the voices of Fontana's District 1 through experienced leadership, community service, and accountable advocacy. A lifelong Fontana resident, small business owner, and daughter of Nicaraguan immigrants, Nubia has been active in local service organizations since her teenage years — a lifelong commitment to community that shapes her approach to public service today. Her mission is to bring residents together through transparent government, strong neighborhood partnerships, and a commitment to safe streets, economic opportunity, and support for youth, seniors, and families. Rooted in decades of community involvement, nonprofit leadership, and public affairs experience, this campaign is focused on ensuring every neighborhood is heard, every family is valued, and Fontana's future is built with integrity and inclusion.
Our Mission: United for a Better Fontana
While the incumbents brand themselves as an exclusive “Team Fontana,” Fontana United was built to be the inclusive alternative.
We are not career politicians protecting an entrenched political network. We are working people, parents, professionals, organizers, and neighbors who experience the consequences of City Hall decisions alongside everyone else.
We have watched South Fontana shoulder unchecked warehouse growth and pollution, North Fontana face increasing developer pressure, and the heart of our city too often go overlooked. We believe every neighborhood deserves the same attention, investment, and voice.
Our candidates have built careers outside politics and have served their communities through their work, neighborhood organizations, service groups, and advocacy.
We are running because we have a real stake in what happens here. Fontana United means leadership that comes from the community, remains accountable to the community, and refuses to treat public office as a private club.
